Morgan plans ODI revolution
SKIPPER Eoin Morgan believes England’s one-day clash against World Cup finalists New Zealand at Edgbaston today represents the first step on the long route to a brighter limited-overs future.
The 28-year-old led England to a dismal group-stage exit at the World Cup in March but has a new-look squad at his disposal.
Morgan said: “For a long time now, we’ve been behind the eight-ball in one-day cricket and we’ve fallen behind a long way, and it’s time to catch up.”
