More history for Martin
GOLF: Spaniard Pablo Martin created more European Tour history after claiming the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa.
Two years after becoming the first amateur to win on the circuit, the 23-year-old has now become the first player ever to capture titles both as an amateur and a professional.
The Malaga player, who had scored just one top ten finish in between, secured his Tour card until 2012 after posting a final round 69 to finish on 17-under-par and edge out another former champion, Charl Schwarzel, by a single shot in a tense finale.
Overnight leader Ernie Els slipped back after a disappointing 77.
