MoneySuperMarket names new chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown
BRUCE Carnegie-Brown is set to replace Gerald Corbett as the chairman of MoneySuperMarket, the company announced yesterday.
Carnegie-Brown has been a part of the company, which helps customers to compare prices on a range of products and services, since April 2010 as a non-executive and has chaired the remuneration committee since January last year.
“I look forward to leading the board and working with Peter Plumb and his strong management team during the next phase of MoneySuperMarket’s growth, as we save more people more money,” he said in a statement yesterday.
On top of his position at the price comparison company, Carnegie-Brown holds positions at AON UK, Santander UK, Close Brothers and Catlin.
“Bruce has a wealth of experience of financial services and online businesses and will make an excellent chairman for MoneySuperMarket,” said Michael Wemms, a senior non-executive at the company.
Corbett is stepping down after seven years at the firm.
