Millwall to back boss Holloway
CHAMPIONSHIP strugglers Millwall have vowed to support new manager Ian Holloway in the transfer market, after the former Crystal Palace boss agreed terms on a two and a half year deal.
The Lions sit just one place and one point outside of the relegation zone and have been on the hunt for a permanent boss since Steve Lomas was sacked on Boxing Day.
Chairman John Berylson said: “The new manager inherits an experienced and talented squad that has not been playing to its potential so far this season.
“He will receive the backing of the board to strengthen as he deems necessary.”
