Mega overseas property fair comes to Earl’s Court
THE market may be gloomy, but there are rays of light – especially if you’re thinking of attending the twice-yearly mega overseas property exhibition at Earl’s Court.
As usual, this month there are thousands of overseas properties for sale, from hundreds of exhibitors from more than 40 countries. Homes range from £20,000 to over £1m.
The fair will be especially strong on market favourites and reliable options for investment. There will be a Florida Pavillion with plenty of focus on the Sunshine State, a perennial favourite with British buyers.
Don’t forget to drop by the French Village – featuring a mix of agents and developers specialising in French properties, with thousands of homes for sale alongside a detailed seminar programme covering all aspects of buying and living in France. The Spanish Village focuses on a huge selection of “bargain” properties across the Costa – so long as you approach it carefully, a smart investment in a prime areas of Spain should pay off. Finally, a Portugese Pavillion will be on hand in associationg with the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, bringing together developers and legal experts to give an insight into all that Portugal has to offer, from the glorious Algarve in the south to Oporto in the north.
Andy Bridge, of show organiser APITS, said this spring’s show is focusing on education and information to help create the better informed buyer. “Today’s overseas property buyers are understandably more cautious, and need better information before committing to a purchase.”
