Beautiful things
William & Son leather bag
William & Son may be best known as a maker of fine guns, but its leatherwear range is irresistible. This duck egg blue travel case is our particular favourite, featuring a dark blue zip, luggage label and a drill cotton lining. The colour is dead on trend this season, and the robust leather should be able to withstand some knocks – not that you’ll want to trust baggage handlers with a case this beautiful. And if duck egg is too retiring for you, the bag is also available in bright red – sure to make you stand out while you’re checking into a luxury resort.
£1,250; available from flagship.williamandson.com or in store at 10 Mount St, W1K 2TY
Savelli Emerald Insane smartphone
The Emerald Insane, set with 75 hand-cut baguette emeralds and 900 diamonds, is the most opulent – and expensive – smartphone on the planet. It is part of a limited edition Savelli range that also includes the Black Insane, which retails for £100,000. They coincide with an 11-strong Savelli Jardin Secret collection, which uses the finest ceramics, leathers and precious stones from Gemfields to create objects that are unlike anything else on the market. “We wanted to create a shape that was feminine, curvaceous, but at the same time modern,” says designer Alessandro Savelli. What do you get for the woman who owns everything? One of these.
The Savelli Jardin Secret collection starts at £7,000. The Emerald Insane is available exclusively at Harrods
