LONDON SET FOR BUS STRIKES TODAY
BUS routes across London are set for severe disruption today after the Unite union promised to go ahead with a day of industrial action. Last-gasp talks with Acas failed last night, and the union said workers at 17 out of 20 firms will walk out today. Three bus firms won an injunction to prevent strike action, which Unite called “an affront to democracy”.
