Liverpool earn Europa League win
FOOTBALL: Liverpool last night defeated Belarusian side FC Gomel 3-0 at Anfield to advance to the final qualifying round of the Europa League with a 4-0 aggregate victory. Home debutant Fabio Borini, captain Steven Gerrard and defender Glen Johnson were the goalscorers.
