Lewis wary of ‘ridiculously fast’ Red Bull
MCLAREN’S Lewis Hamilton says he is awe of the Red Bull team for being “ridiculously faster” than the rest of the F1 field.
The Milton Keynes-based team won the last three races of last season and would surely have opened the 2010 campaign with a win had Sebastian Vettel not suffered engine trouble in Bahrain.
The teams are in Melbourne for this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix and Hamilton is in no doubt of the cars to beat. “The Red Bull is ridiculously faster than anyone else’s car, it’s insane” he said.
“The downforce they had on their car last year was, at some points, just about double what we had.”
