Law firm BLP wants to hire a new associate: Spelling skills optional
ANY BANKING and capital markets associates looking for a change of career last week might have spotted a typo-filled advert for a qualified solicitor, posted online by law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner.
There were several bizarre errors in the online advert, including an opening paragraph that read:
“Working with Partners who are home grown, have come from large law firms to find their place at BLP or who have been names as leading individuals in Chamber, our Banking and Finance Team.” Right.
“You are not someone who wants to be pigeon hold” the advert goes on to state.
BLP yesterday told The Capitalist that the post, which was live all of the last week, came from an in-house error rather than agency copy.
Perhaps the firm, which is known for putting incoming trainees through their paces at Sandhurst, will be instilling a military spelling bootcamp for HR staff too.
