Kill the Bill rally organised targets Parliament Square ahead of final Commons vote on Trade Union bill
Trade union bill protestors will be taking to the streets one more time in an attempt to stop the controversial law passing as it reaches its final vote in the Commons this week.
The Kill the Bill rally will take place outside Parliament Square from 6pm tomorrow (10 November). It has been organised by the Trade Union Co-ordinating Group.
Hundreds of union members and activists are expected to take part in the rally, which will include speeches from Green MP Caroline Lucas, Labour MP Ian Lavery and SNP MP Lisa Cameron, as well as union bosses Steve Gillan and Ronnie Draper.
Unions including RMT, Unison, Unite, the Fire Brigade Union, Aslef and Bectu have held a number of rallys up and down the country as the bill makes its way through Parliament. They convened in Westminster just last week to encourage MPs to vote against it.

Unions argue the controversial bill sets industrial relations back "decades".
Proposals include restrictions around picketing, a provision to allow contract workers to break strikes, raised thresholds for ballots on industrial action and a requirement for prior notice for how unions plan to use social media to coordinate action.
Labour has slammed the measures as "draconian and counter-productive".
But business secretary Sajid Javid has insisted the bill would help prevent "endless" threats of industrial action, saying the proposed changes would "ensure working people's lives aren't unfairly disrupted".
