ITV could reinstate dividend
Commercial broadcaster ITV is mulling over reinstating its dividend payment for shareholders next year after popular programmes such as “Downton Abbey” boosted advertising revenues over the past few months. According to a Sunday newspaper report the company is set to report this week that the wider TV advertising market has increased approximately 14 per cent this year and its group revenues are expected to be up by around 15 per cent. ITV has not made a dividend payment to shareholders for more than two years and has been battling against falling advertising revenues.
