Insurer names new chief exec
PENSION Insurance Corporation (PIC), the insurer, yesterday named investment boss Tracy Blackwell as the successor to current chief executive John Coomber.
Blackwell, who has been at the company since its inception in 2006, will become deputy chief executive with immediate effect and take up the hotseat when Coomber retires in June.
Blackwell is an alumna of Goldman Sachs, where she worked in risk management for its fund manager GSAM and derivatives for its primary investment bank.
Chairman Sir Mark Weinberg said: “One of the things we pride ourselves on at PIC is the strength and cohesion of our management team and I am delighted that we have found a successor for John Coomber from that team.”
