Hook handed full-back role
RUGBY UNION: James Hook will start at full-back for Wales’ opening autumn international against New Zealand at the Millenium Stadium on Saturday.
Coach Warren Gatland has opted for the versatile Hook to fill the void left by injured Lee Byrne, while Gareth Cooper gets his chance to impress at scrum-half in place of the injured Mike Phillips and unavailable Dwayne Peel.
Ospreys prop Paul James wins his second cap six years after his first, replacing Adam Jones at tight-head.
