helicopter drone uses ipod joystick
Visitors to the recent Tokyo Games show were treated to a special demonstration of the Parrot AR Drone, a toy helicopter (pictured) that users can control wirelessly via their iPhone or iPad. The drone has two cameras mounted on its body, which is suspended between four helicopter blades that give it instant manoeuvrability in any direction. Images from the camera are beamed back to the control device, enabled it to act as a joystick and monitor in one. It can also network with other drones for interactive playing.
