Hungry for a sweet property deal? Lord Sugar puts City of London property on market
Hungry for a sweet property deal?
Lord Sugar has fired the starting gun on bids to lease his 40,000 sq ft property The Sugar Building and he is open for tempting offers from a single occupier.
Looking at the accompanying image, the building is still under wraps – but interested parties should get tweeting fast.
The business tycoon and star of BBC1 show The Apprentice this morning tweeted that he was looking to lease the 5 Cheapside building on a “first come first served basis”.

He acquired the octagonal property, which overlooks St Paul's Cathedral and was previously known as the Threepenny Bit, in July 2012. It is made up of three ground floor retail units, basement storage and seven floors of office as well as six offsite car parking spaces.
Sugar paid around £20m for the building through his Amprop arm, and fought off several other interested parties, despite not being the highest bidder at the time.
