Global data for YouGov booms
ONLINE pollster YouGov reported strong growth in its revenues yesterday, led by the growth of its branded global data services.
Revenues grew nine per cent to £32m during the six months to 31 January, while the firm saw a loss of £400,000 due to restructuring costs.
“We’re delivering on the strategy that we’ve put forward… we’ve moved from 25 per cent of our revenue coming from our branded data products to 30 per cent and we’re moving on to reach our target of 50 per cent, which will further improve our margins,” chief executive Stephan Shakespeare told City A.M. YouGov’s shares rose 0.68 per cent to close at 111p.
