Fuller’s sales watered down
BREWER Fuller, Smith and Turner yesterday blamed poor weather over the summer for a decline in revenues, having expected a bumper period over the Diamond Jubilee and Euro 2012.
Sales fell by 1.1 per cent in the 15 weeks to 14 July, the company reported, citing “the persistent rain”. Chairman Michael Turner remained optimistic ahead of the Olympics, saying “the eyes of the world will be on London”.
