Froome aims to follow Wiggins Tour success
BRITAIN’S Chris Froome is confident in his ability to in future win the Tour de France but insists his present priority is to ensure compatriot Bradley Wiggins is this year’s victor.
“I’d like to win the Tour one day but it doesn’t necessarily have to be this year,” said Froome (left). “My priority is to make sure the man on top of the podium in Paris is Bradley Wiggins.
I know my time will come one day.”
Wiggins follows yesterday’s rest day by today resuming his bid to retain the Tour’s yellow jersey.
