Productivity is set to take a big hit this summer as Britons plan to pull sickies to watch live sport.
Last week we learned that Britons believe the Euro 2016 is more important than the EU referendum, so it comes as no surprise that over two thirds of men said they would cancel dates, nights out and even holidays if it meant they couldn't watch their sport of choice.

Meanwhile, those who can't get away from their desks are following the lead of Canary Wharf's secret betters. Around 50 per cent of men said they were planning to watch at least an hour of tennis, football or athletics in the office.
Despite The Capitalist expecting a strong turnout for Ladies' Day at the Investec Derby on Friday, women aren’t quite as ready to play hooky to watch sport, with over three quarters swearing they wouldn’t miss work to view a sporting event, while only three in 10 said they would try and watch at least an hour of sport at work during the summer.
The study from Grosvenor Casinos also found that, whether it's tickets, takeaways or TV subscriptions, one third of Britons are planning to spend £100 on watching sport this summer.
