Football betting tips: Leicester to come unstuck against Liverpool at Anfield

LEICESTER only lost three times on their march to the title last season. On Saturday they return to the scene of one of those defeats – Anfield – and I think they will leave Merseyside empty-handed again.

This view is backed up by the bookies. The Foxes are a best-priced 19/4 with Betway, who offer the draw at 16/5. Claudio Ranieri’s men have had a mixed start as champions, with a defeat, draw and win from their opening three games.

While Liverpool have made an identical start, if Jurgen Klopp’s side click, they have got the beating of anyone.

Stadium rebuilding works mean this is their first home game of the campaign, so they will be keen to put on a show, with the new main stand at one of football’s most historic arenas set to be unveiled.

However, Klopp undoubtedly has issues further back that need to be resolved. The Reds have conceded in each league game, and six times in total, so the hosts will need to take the game to Leicester.
