Exclusive: Saracens sign up financial firm CME in six-figure sponsorship

SARACENS are today set to announce a new sponsorship deal with financial firm CME Group that will see the derivatives specialist’s logo adorn the back of the north London rugby club’s shirts.
The long-term deal, which is understood to be worth a six-figure sum to the Premiership side, will also see one of the entrances at their Allianz Park stadium renamed CME Group Gate. It follows Sarries’ decision to set up a sales team in the City. The club’s main sponsorship deal is with another company with a major Square Mile presence, Allianz, which gives the insurance giant stadium naming rights and shirt sponsorship.
“CME Group is an established global company with bold plans in Europe, and we are delighted they are joining our team,” said Saracens chairman Nigel Wray.
“Rugby, and English club rugby in particular, has entered a phase of outstanding growth. We are confident of delivering outstanding value.”
