Eurozone construction fall arrested
Eurozone production in construction inched up in the month to May, compared to sharp declines in April, according to Eurostat data released yesterday. Seasonally adjusted construction output rose 0.1 per cent in the euro area in May, compared to a 3.7 per cent collapse in April. The EU as a whole experienced a 1.6 per cent increase in construction production in May compared to a 6.9 per cent dive in the previous month, the official data revealed.
