England Six Nations pay revealed: Players to share £600,000 bonus payment for winning grand slam
The Rugby Football Union (RFU) could face a pay-out of over £2m to England players if they win a grand slam for the first time in over a decade.
According to figures revealed by The Times, England's elite player squad contracts guarantee a player a match fee of £7,322 and a weekly training fee of £1,061.

Furthermore, should Eddie Jones' men put to bed the ghost of a disastrous World Cup campaign with a grand slam victory – their first since 2003 – they will reportedly split a bonus pot of £600,000, while a Six Nations title without a grand slam will be worth £368,255.
The match fee marks a more than 50 per cent decrease on the £15,000 awarded to each England player during their ill-fated World Cup campaign last year.
The current four-year elite player squad contract makes England the best-paid international rugby union players in the world.
Players from New Zealand, the world's number one ranked team, were paid just over £3,000 per match during their triumphant World Cup campaign last year.
