England expand tour squad
UNCAPPED props Alex Waller and Kyle Sinckler will bid to fill the void created by an injury to Mako Vunipola after joining England’s tour of New Zealand along with 14 others.
Waller scored in the last minute of Northampton’s Premiership final win on Saturday, while Sinckler makes the step up from the England XV that lost to Barbarians on Sunday.
Six Saracens stars and eight players from Northampton, plus Sinckler and Bath’s Anthony Watson swell head coach Stuart Lancaster’s squad to 47 players, but will not join up in time to feature in Saturday’s first Test in Auckland.
Lancaster said: “It is great to be able to work with a wider group and we feel that the younger players will really benefit from the experience of coming to New Zealand.”
