You may even have received your own branded beer mat. Founded in 2002, Meridian has spent that last two decades or so achieving greatness in the insurance sector and felt it was time to step into the spotlight with a full rebrand. Considerable resources have been invested to reshape everything from the company colours to the logo, tone of voice, website and advertising strategy.
“We’ve worked across the business and with our partners to achieve absolute clarity regarding our culture, strategy, values and what’s important,” says CEO Craig Kingaby. Meridian showed off its relaunch to London’s commuters and tourists by taking over billboards in high-traffic areas, while a digital display van drove up and down Fenchurch Street. Meanwhile, people in Meridian sandwich boards handed out branded beer mats in Leadenhall Market and interactable Meridian logos were even beamed across the city to raise money for the Whitechapel Mission.
