Dier for Spurs as Rose stays
TOTTENHAM Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign England Under-21 defender Eric Dier from Sporting Lisbon for a fee in the region of £4m, subject to a medical.
The 20-year-old came through the ranks at the Primeira Liga side after relocating to Portugal with his family aged 10, joining the Sporting academy and going on to make 30 first-team appearances.
Spurs’ Danny Rose, meanwhile, has signed a new five-year contract at White Hart Lane and is set to compete with new signing Ben Davies for the left-back slot.
