Deloitte opens digital office in the capital’s technology district
DELOITTE has followed KPMG, Tesco and William Hill by moving its digital operations team into the heart of London’s Tech City with a new office in Clerkenwell.
The business services firm said it will move 170 staff from its 400-strong UK digital division into the new office on Clerkenwell Green.
“If you look at how clients and business are adopting the use of technology to communicate with their customers, the way we work with our clients is also changing dramatically. It’s becoming much more collaborative and visual in the way we solve problems,” Deloitte partner Royston Seaward told City A.M.
“Part of moving here is to be in the heart of London’s tech sector, if our clients are moving here then we want to be here. We want to be able to bring staff and clients together in a dynamic way to solve problems.”
Deloitte’s digital division has grown around 50 per cent over the past two years as the firm has consulted on technology software and physical products in the booming tech sector.
Two years ago rival accountancy firm KPMG set up its own office in Tech City to identify and support high growth technology startups in the capital.
