Computacenter chief picked for Daisy’s top job
BUSINESS communication and IT services giant Daisy Group yesterday announced the appointment of Neil Muller as chief executive of the company, following the news of founder and former chief executive Matthew Riley’s promotion to executive chairman.
Currently, Muller works as the UK managing director for Computacenter, where he has been for more than two decades.
Muller is expected to take up his role in February.
When he takes on the position as chief executive at Daisy he says he will focus on growth in the information communications technology space and managed services portfolio.
“As executive chairman, I will work closely with Neil and the management team on the company’s strategic development and growth, and am confident that Neil’s industry knowledge and expertise will drive our strategy with great success”, said Riley.
On his appointment, Muller said: “The converging world of telecommunications and IT represents a host of exciting opportunities and Daisy is in a prime position to evolve and adapt its existing capabilities, addressing new market dynamics and mid-market customer needs.”
