Hermes
The asset manager has appointed Chris Goudie as an executive director for global business development and chief executive of Hermes Fund Managers in North America. Goudie joins from Pyramis Global Advisers, the fund management firm he helped to establish for Fidelity.
Hermes has also hired Heiko Dahse, pictured, and Marcus Money-Chappelle from Fischer Francis Trees & Watts, to lead its sales teams in Europe and the MENA region respectively.
Axa Investment Managers
The investment manager has hired Nick Hayes from Henderson as a portfolio manager in its fixed income team.
Hayes will be based in London, taking over responsibility for the Axa Sterling Strategic Bond Fund.
Since 2003, he has been a senior fund manager in the fixed interest team at New Star, which was taken over by Henderson last year. Prior to that, he worked at WPP Group.

Dawn Airey, the chairman and chief executive of Five, is to join the film rental subscription provider as a non-executive director.
Airey was previously chief executive of Channel 5 before leaving to pursue roles at Channel 4, BSkyB and ITV, latterly as managing director for global content. She returned to Five in 2008 and now sits on the management board of the broadcaster’s parent group RTL.
Alliance Trust Asset Management
The asset management business has appointed Ella Riesco as head of retail marketing, responsible for promoting its equity and bond fund range.
Riesco joins from Jupiter Asset Management, where she was senior marketing executive for three years, responsible for marketing to financial advisers, institutional consultants, direct investors and Jupiter’s strategic alliances.
