Alexander Proudfoot
The consultancy has hired a slew of City heavyweights to its new UK advisory board, chaired by Sir Patrick Brown, chair of the Go-Ahead Group.
The board also includes Schroders chairman Michael Miles (pictured); AON UK chairman Paul Manduca; Regus Group chairman John Matthews; and Christopher Sheridan, a non-executive at Standard Bank.
Lexicon Partners
The corporate finance advisory firm has appointed Dave Blackwood as a senior adviser.
Blackwood, who will focus on expanding the firm’s activities in the oil and gas sector, has 35 years of experience, mostly with oil giant BP, where he was most recently head of the North Sea business based in Aberdeen.
He is also currently a non-executive director at Valiant Petroleum and Expro AX-S Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Expro Group.
London Victoria
The insurance, investment and pensions group has appointed Richard Rowney as managing director of its life and pensions business.
Rowney was previously chief operating officer at the group, having joined in early 2007 from Barclays as a member of the main board.
Reynolds Porter Chamberlain
The law firm has taken on Andy McGregor as a senior associate in its commercial disputes group.
McGregor joins from Ashurst, where he has worked on a range of commercial litigation disputes including acting for energy multinational Total in its wrangle over the Buncefield oil explosions.
Religare Enterprises
The Indian financial services group has hired Rob Flynn to its investment banking arm as chief executive for the Asia region.
Flynn previously spent 10 years at UBS in the Asia-Pacific region.
