Electra
The private equity group has appointed Roger Perkin as a non-executive director.
Perkin is a former senior partner at Ernst & Young, where he spent 40 years of his career. He was previously lead auditor to UBS from 1998 to 2005 and has worked for clients including 3i, Resolution and Henderson.
He also recently advised Sir David Walker on his report into corporate governance in financial services.
TradeRisks
Baroness Ford has joined the investment banking boutique as a non-executive director.
Ford was appointed to chair the Olympic Park Legacy Company in May this year, having joined from Royal Bank of Canada, where she was a senior adviser in the bank’s global infrastructure.
She is also currently senior independent director of Serco, a non-executive director at Grainger and an adviser to the Stockland Corporation, one of Australia’s leading developers.
Hewitt Associates
The HR consultancy has hired Laun Middleton and David Page to its UK investment consulting team.
Middleton has worked in the pensions and investment industry for over seven years, primarily in Deloitte’s UK investment services team.
Page joins from accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised trustee and corporate clients on manager selection, investment strategy and asset liability modelling.
EM Consulting
Joseph Williams has rejoined the recruitment group, which focuses on the professional services, private equity and commerce and industry sectors, as a senior associate in the consulting division.
He spent the past two years working in financial services at a rival executive search business.
Hotbed
The private investor syndicator has appointed Georgina Barber as head of client services.
Barber was previously a strategy specialist within BT Global Services’ global banking business unit, where she managed the firm’s relationship with over 150 corporate clients.
In her new role, she will be responsible for developing client services at Hotbed, launched in 2002 by former 3i investment director Gary Robins.
Loan Market Association
The LMA has announced the resignation of David Fewtrell, one of its vice chairmen, from its board.
Fewtrell is a long-standing LMA board member and has been actively involved in the association since its inception in 1996.
