Jupiter Asset Management
The asset manager has appointed John Tevenan as a sales director in its global financial institutions group, responsible for developing relationships among global wealth management businesses.
Tevenan joins in May and is currently UK sales director at Investec Asset Management, where he has worked since 2005. He has also held roles at DWS Investments, Aegon Asset Management and Fleming Asset Management.
Citi
The bank’s global transaction services business has hired David Aldred from JP Morgan as the industrials sector head for corporate clients in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Aldred was formerly corporate sales head for western European clients at JP Morgan and a sales director responsible for UK, Nordic and non-presence countries at Deutsche Bank.
Société Générale
The bank has hired senior bankers Johanna Campion and John Krumins to its coverage and investment banking division in the UK.
Campion, a TMT specialist, joins from Rockstone Finance, an advisory firm which she founded last year. She has also previously worked at Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch.
Industrial and consumer goods banker Krumins was previously a managing director for the UK country coverage team at Deutsche Bank.
Tullett Prebon
The interdealer broker has appointed Tim Morgan as its new global head of research, to launch a new research service, Tullett Prebon Strategy Insights.
Morgan began his career at the stockbroking subsidiary of Exco, which became part of Banque Indosuez in 1986.
He subsequently established his own energy sector research consultancy before becoming a consultant energy analyst at both Collins Stewart and Shore Capital.
SWIP
Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, has appointed Francis Ghiloni as head of group partnerships.
Ghiloni was most recently commercial and marketing director for the online mortgage business at Evaluate Technologies and business development director at mortgage comparison website MForm.co.uk.
JO Hambro
The investment management firm has hired emerging markets fund managers Emery Brewer and Ivo St Kovachev from Driehaus Capital Management, as it prepares to launch its new global emerging markets fund.
Brewer previously managed the Driehaus emerging markets growth fund, while St Kovachev co-managed the firm’s international discovery fund and lead managed the European opportunities fund.
