CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS
McDermott Will & Emery
The law firm has appointed Hugh Nineham as its new London office head, replacing Doron Ezickson, who steps down to return to full-time practice as head of international for the energy and commodities practice.
Nineham joined the company in April 2008 from rival Lovells, where he previously headed up the firm’s international corporate practice and was a member of the international executive committee.
Tenon Group
The business advisory firm has appointed Alan Jones as sales director in its financial services division.
Jones has over 20 years of financial services experience, having most recently held the role of head of the Bank of Scotland’s investment service.
In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and delivering the client process and enhancing business development opportunities within Tenon’s financial services division.
Aviva Investors
The asset manager has hired Rob Watson to the new role of global product and strategic relations director.
Watson joins from Janus Capital Group, where he was most recently managing director and senior vice president in charge of the firm’s key relationships and product consulting teams.
He also spent some time as head of product strategy and management for Morgan Stanley’s US asset management affiliate, Van Kampen.
LV= Asset Management
The insurance and investment group’s fund management arm has appointed Peter Nicholas as national accounts manager, reporting to head of sales Jonathan Gains.
Nicholas previously held senior investment sales roles at Aviva, Britannic, HSBC Asset Management and Gartmore.
Atlantis Investment Management
The Asian equity specialist has appointed Kris Yap as an analyst to join its Asia ex-Japan business.
Yap joins from Schroders Asia & Co Private Bank, where she worked as an investment manager. She will be tasked with assisting Joseph Wat, fund adviser on the Atlantis Asian Recovery Fund.

The Securities and Investment Institute has appointed four new members to its board, joining recently-appointed chairman Alan Yarrow.
The new directors are David Kane, a managing director at JP Morgan’s treasury and securities services group; Tony Stewart-Jones, chief compliance officer at PricewaterhouseCoopers; Richard Stockdale, the chief executive of QCo Holdings; and Nick Swales, an executive director at UBS Wealth Management in the UK.
