BAE Systems
Paula Rosput Reynolds (pictured) has joined the defence firm’s board as a non-executive, an appointment that will take effect from 1 April. Reynolds has spent more than 20 years in the energy sector, including roles as president and chief executive of AGL Resources in 2002 and Safeco Corporation. She took on the job of vice-chairman and chief restructuring officer of American International Group in 2008 and is also a former non-exec of Coca-Cola.
Eversheds
Clive Jones, a partner at the law firm, has been promoted to head of tax in its London office, a role he will take up from the start of May this year.
He joined Eversheds in February 2008 after 14 years with Clifford Chance. He will replace Sue Taylor, who is retiring at the end of this financial year. Jones has particular experience in advising on the tax issues involved in UK and international real estate and investment structures.
Capco
The financial services business and tech consultancy has hired Gary Goldberg as a director in its capital markets team. He will join the firm in order to develop its prime services and hedge fund clients in the UK.
Goldberg has worked in financial services for the last 16 years, most recently as head of front office technology for BlueCrest Capital.
Ocado Group
Simon Belsham has joined the online supermarket as head of non-food, moving from Tesco, where he was a director of multichannel development with a focus on non-food products.
At Ocado, Belsham will sit on the group’s management committee and report to the executive board.
He has also worked previously as a consultant for Capgemini and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
