Shire
Global speciality biopharmaceutical company Shire has hired Emmanuel Chantelot, former executive director of the European Biopharmaceutical Enterprises (EBE), as director of European government relations and public policy. Chantelot brings 18 years of experience in policy advocacy, strategic communications and business interest representation towards the EU Institutions, global agencies and national governments.
JP Morgan
John Pietri has been hired as an executive director and senior banker for its private banking team in France, based in Paris. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Pietri was with Société Générale’s corporate and investment banking business for thirteen years where he was a director in the M&A team in Paris. Prior to that, he was a manager at Bossard Consultants for five years.
FFastFill
FFastFill, the leading provider of software as a service to the global derivatives community, has appointed Mark Carlisle as finance chief for the group. Carlisle joins FFastFill from Kewill where he has worked since March 2010 as group controller. He will take up his position in April 2011 and will concurrently join the FFastFill board of directors. Carlisle qualified as a chartered accountant in 2003, and began his career at Deloitte, where he was a senior manager within the firm’s technology, media and telecommunications audit practice.
KPMG
KPMG has appointed Graham Martin and Stuart King to head up its new portfolio solutions group service offering, within its transactions and restructuring practice. Martin and King will be leading a broader team of eight; made up of four directors, three senior managers and one manager, all from PwC. KPMG’s financial services transactions and restructuring team, brings together M&A, valuation, due diligence, tax and distressed debt specialists. The team is based in the UK, Spain, Germany, Thailand and the US.
Robeco
The investment products and services provider has appointed Jurgen Stegmann as chief financial officer. Stegmann was previously vice-chairman of the managing board and chief risk officer at NIBC in The Hague.
