PricewaterhouseCoopers
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has appointed Andrew Miller to lead its government information security services offering as part of PwC’s continued investment in the development of its risk assurance practice. Prior to joining PwC, he was at Fujitsu Defence & Security where he was responsible for transforming its security services portfolio.
Mercer
Mercer has made three senior appointments. Mark Stanley has been appointed head of business development & client service for its UK investment management business. Based in London, he will join Mercer next month from Bedlam Asset Management where he was head of sales & client relationships.
Dan Melley has been appointed UK leader for Mercer Dynamic De-risking Solutions (MDDS). MDDS is Mercer’s leading fiduciary management solution which, in the past year, has secured 17 clients with assets of £1.5bn.
Alan Baker will take on the position of EMEA head of solutions management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his new role, he will focus on spearheading the development of a number of significant new initiatives and solutions within Mercer’s broad investment business.
Cinven
European private equity firm, Cinven, has appointed Thilo Sautter as a partner. Sautter will join Cinven in 2011 from Investcorp, where he has worked for over thirteen years. Prior to leaving the firm, he was the partner responsible for private equity investing in German speaking markets, a member of the Investment Committee and headed the Business Services sector team.
Towers Watson
Chris Ford has been appointed
as Towers Watson’s new investment leader for EMEA. Ford joined the company in 1990 and has held a variety of research, consulting and management positions, including heading up the New York Investment practice.
RBCWealth Management
RBC Wealth Management has appointed George King as head of portfolio strategy and head of investment consulting.
