Association of British Insurers
Alain Dromer will join the ABI’s investment committee as chairman on 15 September.
Dromer, who is currently chief executive of Aviva Investors, takes over the position from Keith Skeoch, who has spent three years in office.
Dromer has also spent time as head of global investment at HSBC, head of insurance at Credit Commercial de France and worked at the French Treasury.
BMO Financial Group
Scott Graham from Royal Bank of Scotland has moved to BMO Capital Markets’ Chicago office. Graham, who was managing director and head of global supra sovereigns and agencies at RBS, will work as head of US government bond trading. BMO has also appointed Bill Kirby as head of the US fixed income sales group, as part of an expansion of the group’s fixed income business in the US.
Speymill
The real estate services firm has appointed Denham Eke to oversee its reporting processes, after non-executive director Howard Flight resigned. Eke is also a non-executive director, as well as chairman of the company’s audit committee. He began his career as a stockbroker before moving into corporate planning.
Hamptons International
James Hamand has joined the estate agent as associate director. He moves from Cluttons, where he spent six years in the residential professional division. Peter Kaisary has also joined the firm as a graduate valuation surveyor.
BNP Paribas
The French banking group has hired former Bank of America executive Chris Innes to head up equity sales for the Americas in New York, according to a person familiar with the matter. The position was previously held by Aaron Ford, who resigned last week. Innes starts next week.
Rocco Forte Collection
The luxury hotel group has appointed Karim Naffah as its new managing director, after he spent a year as a consultant, assisting with the company’s refinancing.
Naffah, 47, was previously strategy director at the Bass brewing group, and joined Mitchells and Butlers in 2003 as finance director.
