The UK-based subsidiary of Allied Irish Bank has appointed Nick Treble to the position of managing director.

Treble, 49, has worked at the bank for 27 years, joining in 1982 as a trainee in its treasury department. He subsequently held posts in London as head of treasury and general manager for capital markets, before being appointed group treasurer in 2001. He became chief risk officer in early 2008.
Financial Services Authority
The City watchdog has appointed Ken Hogg, currently interim chief financial officer at MGM Assurance, as its new insurance sector director, effective from 6 July. Prior to joining MGM Assurance, Hogg was chief operating officer at AIG Life, and he also spent 20 years at Aegon.
He succeeds Sarah Wilson, who has agreed to stay on for several more months in an advisory capacity.
HSBC Private Bank
The private bank has appointed Oliver Pacton as head of investment and treasury services in Asia and Giles Scott as head of investment advisory.
Pacton moves from his role as head of trading and sales in Geneva to Hong Kong, having worked at the group since 1998.
Scott, also based in Hong Kong, joins from Merrill Lynch, where he spent the last 12 years as head of equity distribution for the

Jones Lang LaSalle
The property group has appointed Andrew Gould, currently head of its professional and advisory group, as chief executive of its English business from 1 July.
Andy Mottram, who has held the position for four years, will step up to a full-time EMEA management board role.
