CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS
Deloitte
The professional services firm has appointed Mark Carter and Nick Seaver, pictured, to partner in its UK security, privacy and resilience group.
Carter joined the firm in 2005, having previously worked for Accenture and BSkyB. Seaver joined in 2002 as a security, technology and control specialist, focusing on the financial services sector.
Nomura
The Japanese bank has hired Carlo Saba and Tatiana Poliakova to its credit flow sales and trading team and Jim McCormick to its fixed income research division.
Saba joins as an executive director and head of loan trading from JP Morgan, while Poliakova comes from BNP Paribas as an executive director specialising in loan sales.
McCormick, who was previously head of FX strategy at Citigroup, will run the bank’s fixed income research team in Europe.
Deutsche Bank
The bank has appointed Ram Nayak as head of global markets structuring.
Nayak, who also becomes a member of the global markets executive committee, will take responsibility for the bank’s multi-asset class structuring capabilities.
He joins from Credit Suisse, where he was most recently global head of emerging markets and was also previously head of EMEA structuring.
Sovereign Capital
The UK private equity buy and build specialist has appointed Richard Taylor as assistant director in its investment team.
Taylor joins from Octopus Private Equity, where he established and headed up the firm’s Leeds office, leading deals in the lower-mid market. Prior to that, he spent seven years at YFM Group.
