CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS
Aviva
Aviva, the insurance group, announced yesterday that Mary Francis CBE had been appointed as a member of the board’s nomination committee, and took the role on with effect from 2 December this year. Francis is also a senior independent director of Centrica, and a non-executive director at Cable & Wireless. She formerly held senior positions in the City of London, HM Treasury and the Royal Household. She was deputy private secretary to Queen Elizabeth II.
OECD
Pier Carlo Padoan has been appointed chief economist of the OECD. Padoan will maintain his status of deputy secretary-general which he has held since joining the OECD in June 2007. An Italian national, Mr. Padoan has been key to the development of the OECD strategic response to the economic crisis.
ADDleisure
ADDleisure, the Aim traded company that develops products and services in the health and leisure sectors, has appointed Paul Landau, the founder of Fitbug, to its board as an executive director with immediate effect.
Cove Energy
Cove Energy, the Aim upstream oil and gas company, announced the appointment of Frank Moxon as an independent non-executive director effective immediately. Frank has been appointed to Cove Energy’s Audit, Nomination and Remuneration committees. Frank replaces Ivan Murphy who has left the board with immediate effect.
Aurelian
Aurelian announced that Christopher Brown has been appointed as exploration manager. Chris joins the group from Suncor Energy, where he was Exploration Director for North Africa.
