Houlihan Lokey
The international investment bank has hired Oliver d’Oelsnitz as a managing director and head of financial advisory’s European financial institutions coverage. D’Oelsnitz was most recently a managing director at Pan American Financial Resources, where he established a portfolio real estate, infrastructure and debt funds. Prior to this, he was a managing director and global head of corporate finance at WestLB AG in London.
Jones Lang LaSalle
The property services firm has hired Frank Pörschke as chief executive for Germany, effective from 1 January. Pörschke was previously chairman of the management board at Eurohypo. He replaces Andreas Quint, who moves to the firm’s corporate finance division, based in London and Frankfurt.
Betfair Group
The gaming group has appointed Peter Marcus as UK director. Marcus will join Betfair in October from Betclic Everest Group, where he is group chief strategy officer, to oversee the company’s UK-facing business divisions.
Venquis
The recruiter has expanded its investment management desk in London by hiring Michelle Sally and Daniel Stockman. Sally joins from Cornwallis Elt and Stockman moves from software firm Pentana.
Old Mutual Asset Managers
The investment firm has hired Kevin Lilley as a fund manager to run the Old Mutual European Equity Fund, effective from October. Lilley moves from Royal London Asset Management, where he has managed the £641m Royal London European Growth Fund since 2001.
Business Growth Fund
The government’s £2.5bn Business Growth Fund, established to help Britain’s SMEs, has hired Jon Rhodes as director of communications and marketing. Rhodes joins from PR firm Brunswick, where he was a partner.
Amundi
The fund manager has hired Jason Josefs as senior portfolio manager for global equities in London. Josefs, who joins from Aviva Investors, will co-manage Amundi’s flagship active global thematic equity fund.
