JAG Shaw
The boutique corporate law firm has announced the hiring of Susanna Stanfield. JAG Shaw focuses on providing advice on venture capital and private equity matters, with particular expertise in the life sciences and technology sectors. Stanfield, a corporate lawyer who has spent over ten years in the venture capital practice of Taylor Wessing, will assist the firm in consolidating its existing client base.
Green Flag
The motoring assistance company has announced that Mike Bowman will be joining as director. He will report to Chris Wilson, commercial director of Direct Line’s growth portfolio. Bowman joins from MORE THAN Business, the commercial arm of the insurance firm, and was marketing director at Towry Law for eight years, specialising in pensions and investments.
Knight Frank
Kevin Aitchison and Ian Whittock, previously chief executive and chief investment officer respectively of ING Real Estate Investment Management UK, have joined Knight Frank Investors. Aitchison will become overall head and Whittock head of strategy at the specialist investment adviser. Knight Frank says that their recruitment will play a key role in its strategic development.
Stephenson Harwood
The full-service law firm has hired James Trundle as partner in its real estate practice. Trundle arrives from Nabarro, where he has been partner since 2003. He is a commercial real estate lawyer, with a particular focus on investment and development. Harwood’s appointment follows news that Andrew Hill and Paul Hayward-Surry will also join the firm later this year from SNR Denton.
