KNG Securities
The fixed income specialist has announced the appointment of Armando La Morgia as a head of structured finance. He joins from Hemera Capital Management, where he focused on residential mortgage-backed and consumer asset-backed securities.
Lewis Silkin
Alex Kelham will join the City law firm as senior associate in its sports group. Kelham spent seven years as senior lawyer on brand protection matters for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games. She will be working closely with Lewis Silkin’s media, brands and technology team.
USS Investment Management
Robin Filmer-Wilson will join the investment management firm as investment manager in private equity co-investments. He has over 14 years’ direct private equity and investment experience, and started his career at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co in New York. He was most recently director at TCR Capital, where he worked on leveraged buyout transactions.
Legg Mason
The asset management firm has announced the appointment of Joseph A Sullivan as president and chief executive. Sullivan joined the firm as chief administrative officer in 2008, and has held prior executive roles at Dain Bosworth and Piper Jaffray.
Metlife
Shirley Fell has been appointed chief operations officer, UK at the insurance company. She has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, having previously worked for HBOS and Zurich. She will be responsible for IT application development.
Alvarez and Marsal
The professional services firm has announced the appointment of Wayne Grundy as managing director to lead its new European cyber practice. Grundy has 16 years’ experience working within internet security, and joins from Raytheon UK, where he was chief information officer.
Throgmorton
Carolyn Twist will join the accountancy and back office services firm as senior client adviser. Twist has worked at Morgan Stanley for the past 15 years, most recently as executive director and European controller.
