Old Burlington Investments
Noreen Kelly has been appointed business development manager at the investment business. She was previously a relationship manager at Octopus Investment Management. In her new role, Kelly will market Old Burlington’s funds to financial advisers.
Sainsbury’s
Angie Risley has been appointed group human resources director at the supermarket. She was most recently group human resources director at Lloyds Banking Group. Risley has also held senior roles at Whitbread, and is a non-executive director of Serco.
Westhouse Holdings
Robert Finlay has been appointed head of corporate finance and corporate broking at the broking group. He joins from Cannacord Genuity, where he was head of corporate finance. Finlay has over 25 years’ experience as a corporate financier, and has also held roles at Credit Lyonnais Securities, Hoare Govett and James Capel & Co.
SJ Berwin
The law firm has announced two appointments to its London-based EU, competition and regulatory department. Elaine Whiteford joins as a partner from Berwin Leighton Paisner. She also previously worked for Freshfields. Sarah Turnbull joins as a partner from Ofcom, where she was head of legal. She previously worked for SJ Berwin as an associate.
ECU Group
The currency management firm has announced two appointments. Matthew Lindfield has been appointed head of private clients. He has previously held roles at Societe Generale and St James’s Place. Maria Chapman has been appointed head of private banking and intermediary relationships. She was previously head of business development at Maseco Private Wealth, and has also held senior roles at Kleinwort Benson and Bank Boston.
