HSBC Private Bank
Antoine Cahuzac has been appointed as CEO of HSBC Private Bank France and becomes a member of the GPB EMEA executive committee. Cahuzac joined HSBC France in 1985, rising to head of global banking MENA, based in Dubai, before returning to France in 2008 as a senior corporate adviser to the chief executive. In his new role he will report to Christophe de Backer, CEO of HSBC France and Alexandre Zeller, CEO, EMEA of HSBC Private Bank.
GE Capital
The financial services unit of General Electric has appointed Neil Kerridge as originations director to its corporate structured finance team, where he will develop new business opportunities with large and mid-market corporates. Kerridge joins from Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.
Otkritie
Russian financial services provider Otkritie has appointed Dmitri Shatsky as head of business applications development. Previously, Shatsky worked at RTS Stock Exchange and the Eastern European Investment Bank.
Amlin Corporate Insurance
Specialist insurer Amlin has appointed Kim Hvirgel as chief executive of its Netherlands subsidiary, ACI, subject to the approval of the Dutch National Bank. Hvirgel is expected to join ACI on 1 June, and Patrick Coene, the current chief executive, will step down on the same day. Hvirgel was previously chief executive of Codan Forsikring.
Pictet Asset Management
The asset management arm of Swiss bank Pictet & Cie has appointed Micael Hagelin as senior business development manager. Hagelin joins from Janus Capital International.
Veritas Asset Management
Lucy Colback has been appointed as fund manager and investment analyst to work across the group’s Asian strategies, based in London. Previously, Colback held senior roles at Horizon Asset, Bear Stearns Asia, Merrill Lynch and Schroder Investment Management.
