Callatay & Wouters
Callatay & Wouters, which provides IT solutions to retail, private and direct banks, has appointed Diederik Van Der Linden to the new position of sales and marketing director. Van Der Linden, who specialises in retail and private banking, joined the company in 2001 to lead the international business development team, before becoming sales director for the EMEA region. In this role, he was instrumental in a number of greenfield operations, internet banking launches and business process outsourcing set-ups.

The not-for-profit body has elected Mimi Drake, president of Permit Capital Advisors, as chair of the global board and Sandra Urie, chairman and chief executive of Cambridge Associates, as vice chair, effective from 1 January 2012. Kristen Eshak Weldon, managing director of Blackstone Group International, has been elected as chair of the London board, and Kathryn Graham, director at BT Pension Scheme Management, will join the London executive committee as vice chair.
Towers Watson
The professional services firm has hired Danny Howell as head of wealth management for Asia. Prior to joining Towers Watson, Howell was general manager for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Baring Asset Management
Michael Siciliano has been appointed as head of north American sales. He joins Barings from Merganser Capital Management in Boston, where he was director of sales. Prior to that, he worked at ING Institutional and Mellon Financial in New York in senior product development and sales roles.
Quilter
The specialist wealth manager has appointed Graham Jones as an investment manager in its Liverpool office. He moves from Deutsche Bank, where he worked for 20 years.
Jefferies
The investment bank has hired Michael Collinson as a managing director and European co-head of consumer and retail investment banking. Collinson joins from Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was a managing director in the consumer industries group of the global banking and markets division, responsible for consumer products.
DLA Piper
The law firm has appointed Tom Kerr Williams as a partner in its employment, pensions and benefits practice in London. He moves from Baker & McKenzie, where he was a senior associate in the employment team. His areas of specialism include international restructuring, industrial relations and whistleblowing.
