Canary Wharf Group
Eric Van Der Kleij has been appointed as a specialist adviser to the property group. As current chief executive of the Tech City Investment Organisation, he will advise on linking Canary Wharf with opportunities in digital technology.
Janus Capital
Matthew Nagele has been appointed as head of UK for the investment firm’s European business. He joins from Castle Trust, where he was managing director, distribution. Nagele has over 10 years’ experience in fund management, and also previously served as managing director, distribution at Old Mutual Asset Managers.
London & Capital
Pau Morilla-Giner has been appointed chief investment officer at the wealth management firm. He started his career at JP Morgan Asset Management, and has also held roles at Omega Capital and Pragma Wealth Management.
First State Investments
Peter Mangano has been appointed senior analyst in the asset management firm’s global resources team. He was previously chief operating officer at IPD Analytics. Mangano has over 15 years’ experience in finance and has held resource analyst roles at Citigroup, Salomon Smith Barney and HSBC.
BlackRock
Roland Arnold has been appointed co-manager of the BlackRock UK special situations fund. He joined the investment management firm 12 years ago and most recently worked on its UK small and mid cap equity team. Arnold will work alongside Richard Plackett, the fund’s existing manager.

The Russian practice of Berwin Leighton Paisner, the law firm, has appointed Kyle Davis as a partner in its corporate practice. He was previously counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, and has also practised at Allen & Overy.
Shire
The biopharmaceutical firm has appointed Soren Tulstrup as senior vice president and francise lead for its human genetics therapies business. He was previously chief executive of Santaris Pharma, and has also held senior roles at Merck, Sandoz and Abbott Laboratories.
