CITY MOVES WHO’S SWITCHING JOBS
Regard
Sandie Foxall-Smith has been appointed chief executive of the care specialist group. She joins after four years as chief executive of St Peter’s Hospice in Bristol, and replaces co-founder and major shareholder John Farragher. Foxall-Smith has many years’ experience in the healthcare sector, and previously served as director of development at Circle Health and in senior positions at BUPA Hospitals. She has also worked in human resources.
Helical Bar
The property development and investment company has announced that Giles Weaver will stand down as chairman, after seven years in the position. He will be replaced by Nigel McNair Scott, a director at Helical since 1985 and finance director since 1987. Additionally, Richard Gillingwater and Richard Grant have been made non-executive directors.
Lyceum Capital
The lower mid-market growth investor has made two senior appointments. Mark Swallow will become operations manager. He joins from Sage Group, where he was head of finance for Sage Pay. Swallow has previously held positions at Accord and Casio Electronics. Adam Lewis will become an investment executive. He previously worked at NBGI Private Equity, and as a management consultant for Deloitte.
Threadneedle
Moira Gorman has been appointed client relationship director at the asset management firm. She was previously a senior relationship manager at State Street Global Advisers, and a relationship manager at Morley Fund Management.
Marmalade
The mobile app development platform has appointed Harvey Elliott as its managing director and chief operating officer. He has over 20 years’ experience in the videogame industry and most recently served as vice president and general manager at Electronic Arts.
Jones Day
The law firm has appointed Rebecca Saunders to its construction practice as an associate. She joins from Fenwick Elliott, where she specialised in dispute resolution and arbitration.
