UniCredit, Italy's biggest bank by assets, has appointed Jean Pierre Mustier as CEO. Jean Pierre began his career at Societe Generale where he held various positions from 1987 to 2009. In 2003, he was appointed head of Societe Generale’s corporate and investment banking division and member of the bank’s executive committee. From 2011 to 2014, he was UniCredit's deputy general manager and head of corporate and investment banking division. Currently he is partner at Tikehau Capital, an investment management company, and member of the board of directors of Alitalia.
Cushman & Wakefield
Neil Batty has been appointed head of international sales at Cushman & Wakefield's London residential team. Neil has more than 20 years’ experience in the central London residential market, providing residential development and sales advice for clients including Argent, Ballymore and Berkeley Group. A specialist in international sales, Neil’s career to-date includes 10 years at Savills and eight at Knight Frank as head of international project marketing.
EY has appointed Janet Dawson as leader of its global and UK&I government and public sector assurance practice. She will lead a team of more than 220 professionals in the UK and Ireland and 2,600 globally who audit the financial and non-financial performance of government and public sector organisations. Janet has more than 20 years of experience working with clients across health care and central and local government. She has led a range of projects including external audits of NHS trusts and London boroughs, in addition to working with NHS England on the introduction of clinical commissioning groups. Prior to joining EY, she led PwC’s UK health team.
Insurance giant LV= has promoted John Perks, managing director of its retirement solutions business, and Myles Rix, managing director of its protection business, to its group executive team. John is responsible for all aspects of the insurer’s retirement business. He has 25 years' industry experience and prior to LV= he spent two years at Prudential UK as director of protection. Meanwhile, Myles joined LV= in 2008 initially as actuarial and strategy director before becoming the finance and commercial director for its life and pensions business. He was appointed managing director of protection in August 2014. Myles began his career at Skandia Life and prior to joining LV= he worked at Aviva UK for 11 years in roles including financial and commercial director for health.
